A Summer Full of Wonder: BASIS Prague Summer Camps

There’s something magical about summer, especially when you're a child. Long days, new friends, the freedom to explore… and if you’re lucky, a place where every day feels like an adventure. 

That’s what we hope our summer camps at BASIS Prague can be for your child. 

We don’t think of camp as just a way to pass time until school starts again. For us, it’s a chance to create something special: a place where learning feels like play, where creativity gets messy (in the best way), and where children can be fully, joyfully themselves. 

Each week brings a new theme—sometimes it’s storytelling and myths from around the world, other times it’s art in the forest, or hands-on science experiments. For younger children, we’ve built entire camps around the kinds of things they already love—like Disney characters or exploring different cultures through music, food, and crafts. It’s light, fun, and full of little sparks of discovery. 

But what makes it truly meaningful is the people. Our own teachers—familiar, trusted faces—lead the camps. The same ones who guide our students during the school year bring their warmth, their energy, and their genuine care into summer. They know how to create structure without stiffness, and how to make each child feel seen, supported, and excited to come back the next day. 

Add in our safe, cheerful campus, small group sizes, and a whole lot of encouragement, and you’ve got a recipe for a summer that’s not just full—it’s fantastic. 

Most importantly, we want your child to come home smiling. To tell you, unprompted, about the birdhouse they built, the song they learned, the friend they made. That’s when we know we’ve done something right.
